Assist the District Manager with on going operations of the stores and communicate daily with Store Management and the Home Office.
Gathers, tabulates and reports weekly store/district information in a timely and accurate manner (sales and payroll, District Manager itinerary, Store Managment schedules, accidents, incidents).
Maintains the organization of office (sorts mail, maintains files, monitors supplies).
Prepares and distributes communications and memos from DM to appropriate parties.
Monitors expense control items (travel, supplies, workers compensation, etc) and reports exceptions to DM.
Assists with special projects as outlined by DM (new store open houses, inventory preparation, management meetings, vendor machine audits, clearance counts.
Five years of administrative experience.
The ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft based computers programs(MS Word and Excel, Lotus 1-2-3, e-mail) a must.
Previous experience in a retail environment preferred but not required. .
