Job Description

 

Serve as a single point of contact for customers in order to deliver industry leading customer service through proactive management of the order to cash cycle.
Monitor and ensure on-time flow of product from Diageo plants, import suppliers, and 3rd party manufacturers.
Monitor, open orders, ensure billing for imports and domestics are done on timely bases to support the business needs.

Bilingualism (French/English) a must.


Financial Responsibility
Monitor reports and consult with customers on orders to ensure on-time product delivery and product availability. May need to make order changes if supply or other circumstances require. This individual is also responsible for running various reports to accurately manage the business and identify risks to stakeholders.

Ensure customers adhere to order guidelines and proactively recommend order process improvements to customers; communicate violations in a professional and courteous manner; Identify ways to correct consistent order violations.

Understand and take appropriate action to reduce cost impact of order violations, order expedites and other actions taken to deliver service against operational and market budgets

Understand and take appropriate actions to reduce cost impact of claims, taking timely action on claims resolution and proactively communicating with the customer and claims/deductions analysis on every resolution and total outstanding balance.

Management Responsibility
Will build and foster collaborative relationships with customer and sales team for their market.

Administer SAP order management system and other Diageo information systems, to manage customer orders and shipments

Works independently with limited supervision

Employs Customer Operations Ways of Working and Best Practices during the daily performance of job responsibilities

Will represent Customer Operations on innovation/renovation project teams and communicate status and priorities to functional team members.

Complexity of Role
Must have advanced proficiency in the order management modules of the SAP system

Must have in-depth understanding of product innovation and launch cycles, as well as Diageo Gate Process.

Must be proficient in EDI process, Product Allocations, and key data maintenance requirements associated with Product Catalog.

Must be proficient in MS Excel and capable of creating customized customer reports and performance trends

Must be able to interface independently with internal and external customers across all levels, including senior leadership. Primary contacts will be purchasing agents and sales team.

Will work with multiple supply points in multiple countries.

.Key Outputs/Deliverables
Manage order process from order creation through delivery for domestic and work with DI team to ensure imports orders are shipped on time.

Enforce NA Supply process and guidelines.

Assists sales teams in the delivery of period end shipping targets.

Analysis of Diageo performance, particularly around service; KPIs (fill rates, on-time, trading profit, cash flow); Analysis of customer order patterns and adherence to targets/policies.

Undergraduate degree strongly preferred, though proven experience in customer operations will be considered.

1-3 years of supply chain experience. Relevant Beverage alcohol industry or CPG experience strongly desired.

Bilingualism (French/English) a must.
