Job Description

The Corporate Controller is responsible for the management of the financial control services platform. This person will be directly responsible for financial accounting, Sarbanes Oxley compliance, external reporting, as well as, managing all audit information. The Controller provides oversight to the development of processes, policies and controls to ensure financial integrity of business reporting and achievement of financial goals. Reporting •Reports to VP – Financial Planning and Control •Partners with Senior Management, CFO/COO, VP – Business Finance and works closely with the Financial Planning and Business Finance teams
Qualifications:
Responsibilities •Oversees the daily global operations of the accounting department, including payroll and accounts payable •Oversees Sarbanes Oxley compliance throughout the company •Assist in the implementation of new financial and accounting systems •Lead the company’s external financial reporting process, including SEC reporting •Manages month-end close processes •Interfaces with third party auditors and organizes internal staff to complete and provide all audit information •Assist in the creation and analysis of monthly and quarterly results including preparation and progressive refinement of insightful reporting •Participate in key strategic initiatives to help identify revenue enhancement and cost reduction opportunities, and improve internal business processes Skills •Public company experience, including SEC reporting •10+ years of progressive experience in accounting and finance •CPA Required / Big 4 or MBA preferred •Experience in a multi-channel global retailer preferred •Strong leadership skills and proven abilities to inspire and manage a team •Expertise in technical accounting, budgeting, planning and internal controls •Possess a strategic approach, sound business judgment and an entrepreneurial mindset •Expert Excel and PowerPoint skills; experience working and extracting information from various accounting platforms (ERP)
