SUMMARY:
Travelers Finance Technology Team is seeking a candidate responsible for providing technical and analytical support for the development and ongoing support of financial performance management applications. The successful candidate will design, create and maintain models, reports and input templates used across the Enterprise to perform financial performance management functions. Additionally they will organize, prepare and present training users of the applications.

Working with our business partners, the candidate will also assist in the preparation of solution requirements as well as lead in the design and testing of reporting solutions prior to implementation into production. Communication with and understanding the needs of our customers are critical ensuring exceptional customer service to our business partners.

The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and possess a unique blend of Finance and Technical qualities needed as part of a fast-paced, challenging work environment requiring accuracy and timeliness to adhere to our customer¿s needs.

PRIMARY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Individual will use their data analysis and technical skills to design, create and maintain financial performance management solutions which are needed by the Office of Finance to make decisions that drive growth, profitability and expense management.

Utilize technical and communication skill to prepare, organize and present training to users. You will be responsible for recording webinars and creating other training materials on a wide variety of TM1 topics ranging from general user training to advance report writing classes. Training forums range from self-taught, on-line sessions to formal classroom training. In addition, you will maintain a SharePoint site for distribution of training materials.

EDUCATION/COURSE OF STUDY:
A bachelor¿s degree in finance, accounting or information technology

WORK EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE:
BS/BA degree. Some experience in Finance or related field a plus
Strong proficiency in the use of Microsoft Excel (i.e. macros, pivot tables and vlookups). TM1 experience a plus
Solid data mining skills. Knowledge of MS Access a plus
Accurate and detail oriented
Strong organizational skills. Can prioritize workflow and complete multiple tasks with competing deadlines.
Ability to research and resolve complex issues, think outside the box and streamline processes.
Effective communication skills with various levels of the organization. This individual will be providing training and presenting training materials.

Has a working knowledge of the systems interfaces with the business operations work-flow and a conceptual understanding of the business. Proficient in the use of work station, LAN, and mainframe computer applications. Where appropriate maintains a basic knowledge of business trends. Sometimes requires assistance to perform tasks.
