Job Description
The Sales Presentation Manager is responsible for driving a business unit plan by working to implement business strategies and ensuring those strategies can be executed within retail stores. This role will manage brand execution within all stores by producing tools including visual guidance, signage, fixture brochures and other documentation that outline monthly and seasonal presentations of Sears products in the store environment. The Sales Presentation Manager will act as a resource, project manager, and communicator of information to manage brand consistency and engage customers in a more compelling manner to increase sales.
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
• Partners with Sales Development Manager to provide feedback, input, and concerns to ensure business strategy can be implementatedat the store level and provide value for our customers
• Ensures coordination and execution of activities at store level and coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure objectives are implemented. Provides feedback and tracking of results to applicable stakeholders
• Develops subject matter expertise on relevant business unit success metrics and partners with the Sales Development Manager and cross-functional team to provide sales execution reporting insights and assists on developing a plan to improve business performance; Monitors implemented plans against success metrics and identifies gaps/course corrections at the store level
• Develops and disseminates the Monthly Sales Planner (MSP)
• Develops and coordinates client’s communication and direction to the field (including Pebble, conference calls, business integration calls, RVP meetings, webinars, WLPs, etc.) ; partners with Communication team to ensure the communications are consistent between businesses, and that they are timely and easy for store associates to understand, and assists with follow-up on execution as necessary
• Provides feedback to the client on sales and implementation opportunities that are impacting sales and profitability
• Develops comprehensive programs, from inception to execution. Partners with clients and other business partners to develop the programs and execution of activities at store level
• Facilitates presentation, fixturing, signing, and communication that drives sales and profit for the assigned Business Unit
• Serves as the Retail Services Leader in working cross-functionally with the BU and other partners to develop and deliver all field implementation tools (MSPs, set up brochures, transitions, typical/floor plans and National Presentation Standards (NPS)) in a clear, concise and executable manner
• Attends all divisional merchandising line reviews to provide insights on behalf of the store regarding context behind line performance
• Partners with Merchants to develop and execute merchandise exit strategies, possessing a comprehensive understanding of the assigned BU merchandise plan
• Conduct regular store and competitor visits to stay abreast of current and emerging operations
• Ensures appropriate resources and focus are applied to projects to maximize their potential
• Build strong relationship with business partners throughout the organization
• Function as a voice of the customer and associate to provide insights and influence projects
