Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for daily work direction including production goals and standards to meet and exceed client expectations for the administrative pre-delivery appraisal review process. Provides coaching and training of staff on a daily basis as well as being the first point of escalation on problems or issues that may arise. Acts as a liaison between both the client and vendors to build strong customer focused relationships. Serves as a back up to the AOM when volumes increase or absences occur. Ensure adherence to the TAT requirements as established for all appraisal products reviewed. May assist with the interview process. Reports to an AOM of the Department or as otherwise directed. A summary of the essential functions to be completed in this position are listed below ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS : Responsible for daily production goals and standards that will be supervised by Assistant Operations Manager. Ensure compliance with Department policies and procedures. These standards will center on production, quality and TAT as a Collateral PreScreen Analyst. Responsible for supervising and prioritizing daily workflow and making adjustments according to volumes and resources. Document statistics daily for both the customer and AOM as needed. 'Coach' and train newly hired permanent and temporary employees on an ongoing basis. Responsible for covering production shortages due to vacations or sick days for the other team members including AOM, while also serving as first escalation point for problem resolution. Make and/or supervise outbound calls and revision requests from team members to appraisers. Work with all Operational entities to promote positive team attitude and environment. Assist other teams from the Departments as directed by Assistant Operations Manager. Continue to look for ways to improve current process with enhancements and ideas. Effectively communicate with appraisers both verbally and written regarding required revisions requests and/or issue resolution. PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS: Team Performance - It is expected teams will perform to all SLA and quality measurements. Relationship Management with Peers, Staff, Business partners and Regional partners: Establish and maintain relationships with peers and partners. Utilize critical and strategic thinking skills to identify and recommend process improvements that enhance service levels. Identify appraiser performance issues and coverage deficiencies. EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS : To perform this position successfully, an individual must be able to perform each function satisfactorily. Excellent written and oral communication skills. PREFERRED : Previous mortgage processing, post closing, secondary marketing or appraisal experience. Proficient computer skills in Window-based software products such as Word, Access, Excel, Email and Power Point. 2-4 year college degree or equivalent relevant experience in the customer service field. Previous experience leading, directing and training the work of others. Knowledge of ProCollateral, WMS and Big Easy.
