Under general supervision, responsible for all aspects of product promotion for products that may require an "account management" type of selling skill. This would be accomplished through an increased demonstration of the competency of conceptual thinking as it applies to data management and business planning. - Follows up with daily customer contacts- hospitals/IDNs, senior care customers (medical directors, assisted living facilities), federal accounts, urologists, OB/GYNs, medical groups, oncology/infusion centers, etc. - Primary responsibility for Trelstar/INFeD promotion, and other products as needed, requiring an account management sales approach within a given district. - Responsibility for call activity to targeted customers as directed by the District Manager. - Provide monthly itineraries and call reports to the District Manager. - Prepares Business Plan in collaboration with the DM, RAM, and ABA for specific target opportunities. - Provides regular updates, as directed by the DM, on progress and outcomes related to targeted projects. - Uncovers new business opportunities and works with the appropriate personnel to maximize the opportunity. - Identifies district opportunities to target in collaboration with Area Business Analyst, District Manager, Regional/National Account Manager. - Works closely with the Area Business Analyst and Regional/National Account Managers to determine areas of opportunity based on analytics. - Conducts one-on-one meetings with Regional/National Account Managers involving brainstorming on contracting strategies, pull-through tactics and measurement of effectiveness. - Updates meetings on activities/accomplishments with District Mangers; field contacts with representatives if needed to assist in development of pull through opportunities. - Performs related duties as assigned.College Degree from an accredited college or university, and three (3) to five (5) years pharmaceutical experience preferably in positions with increasing levels of responsibility. Experience with account based selling and calling on a variety of physicians, clinic, hospital and provider customer would be ideal.
