The Global Sourcing – Sourcing team owns overall accountability for production planning and serves as the primary Sourcing interface with the Planning/Inventory organization. They negotiate production capacities and strategize chase plans to ensure on time product deliveries, cost and quality goals and are met. All team members are solution oriented and have the ability to build strong cross functional partnerships with Product Development, Production, Planning/Inventory Mills/vendors.

As the Sourcing Assistant you will support the Sourcing Manager in production planning and vendor capacities. Maintains all Final Costs and analyzes extended size costs. Roll up final IMU for Sourcing Manager. Passes all cost changes in season to production team. Gathers all Time/Actions from suppliers, and works with Sourcing Manager to finalize for business.
Qualifications:
Position Analysis:
1. Supports Sourcing Manager in the vendor and mill strategy implementation
2. Enters, compiles and analyzes costs for extended sizes and highlights discrepancies to manager.
3. Rolls up IMU with planning projections
4. Compiles multiple categories projections by vendors from initial projections to Business Review final plans.
5. Compile all Time/Actions from vendors and finalize with sourcing Manager for all programs. – Pass to Production team for flow sheet entry.
6. Regularly communicates with vendors & and support functions to ensure calendar deadlines are met and data accuracy.

Required Skills:
1. PC proficient with emphasis in Microsoft Excel and Word.
2. Attention to detail and excellent follow-through skills
3. Ability to proactively identify, analyze and problem solve independently.
4. Flexible to changing demands with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced business environment.
5. Excellent prioritization and organizational skills.
6. Strong interpersonal skills – written and verbal communication.
7. Education, course work or previous experience in textiles/apparel manufacturing. Knowledge of product with interest/willingness to learn.
8. Familiarity with product development process and resources helpful.
