The IT Senior Project Manager will be responsible for leading a team of onshore and offshore personnel who are responsible for software development, client implementation and IT infrastructure projects for one or more business units who provide products and services for the mortgage banking industry. Essential Functions/Responsibilities Responsible for all aspects of the development and implementation of assigned projects and provides a single point of contact for large scale, highly technical projects. Independently oversees medium to large scale, complex technical projects or phases of a larger project. Oversees various system projects of a complex technical nature. Develop project plans specifying goals, strategy, and staffing, scheduling, identification of risks, contingency plans, backlogs, burn down charts, budgets and allocation of available resources. Consult with management and review project proposals to determine goals, time frame, funding limitations procedures for accomplishing project, staffing requirements and allotment of resources. Work closely with the end users, business technologies, clients, and others to understand and prioritize business goals and information needs related to the project. Facilitate business and technical design sessions, data conversion planning and case model design. Act as subject matter expert, in a specific technology or business function. May make recommendations for defining hardware and software needs. May determine, oversee and track budgets. Uses skills as a seasoned, experienced professional with a full understanding of industry practices and established policies and procedures. Troubleshoots and guides others on a wide variety of complex problems and identifies solutions within broad application and functional expertise. Anticipates and wards off problems that may cause risk to the project and its completion. Interface with onshore and offshore resources on a daily basis to direct efforts related to tasks, provide an escalation point, obtain status information, and communicate project related information. Accountable for removing impediments to the ability of the team to deliver the sprint goal/deliverables.Education High school diploma or GED required Bachelor's Degree in an IT or business field or equivalent work experience Experience Minimum of eight years directly related experience. Proven ability to establish and meet milestones and deadlines Personal commitment to quality and on-schedule delivery Experience in Waterfall, Agile or other forms of iterative software development Conceptual understanding of current technologies and methodologies to plan and communicate effectively with project team and sponsors Experience with planning, coordinating, and administering projects in a business and/or technology environment Experience with risk management Experience managing multiple projects or large project with complex inter-dependencies Experience developing and managing project budgets Knowledge of communication, status reporting, and Project Management tools to create project documents and reports Solid understanding of software development processes, including requirements gathering, analysis and design, development tools and technologies, release and version control, contemporary testing methodologies, and deployment management May require solid understanding of business or technical process changes, implementations, and deployments Analytical ability sufficient to understand user requirements and translate them into technical terms, to develop quantitative status reports, to identify and quantify issues and risks PMP and CSM preferred Knowledge/Skills Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills including the ability to present complex technical material to non-IT business users Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills Strong relationship building skills Strong negotiation skills CoreLogic offers an empowered work environment that encourages creativity, initiative and professional growth and provides a competitive salary and benefits package.
