Job Description
. 1. Carries out responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies, procedures, and state, federal and local laws. 2. Communicates with customers via telephone, email, fax or in person, and receives product orders and general inquiries. 3. Monitors and provides updates to the customer master group. 4. Investigates customer complaints concerning billing of products, shipping errors, and damages, referring quality complaints to designated departments for investigation. 5. May be required to participate as a Super User with SAP. 6. May be requested to work on specific projects. 7. Interfaces with other departments in the processing of any customer related issues. 8. Assists customers with requests for and the processing of returned goods. 9. Complies with Company policies and procedures, including safety rules and regulations. 10. Performs related duties as assigned. 1. Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), Food and Drug Administration (FDA), and other regulatory requirements. 2. Standard office procedures, practices and protocols. 3. Basic sales, contract administration and customer service principles. 4. English usage, spelling, grammar and punctuation. 5. Current Company policies and procedures, including safety rules and regulations. 6. Computer systems and software applications, such as Microsoft Office. 7. Proficiency with 10-key data entry. 8. SAP experience preferred. 9. General office experience including filing & copying. 10. Achieving goals, objectives and practices for effective, efficient and cost effective management of allocated resources. 11. Interpreting and closely following instructions and procedures. 12. Participating in a full range of Sales-related support services. 13. Typing and keyboarding with a high degree of accuracy. 14. Writing and composing business correspondence. 15. Working under time constraints and in pressure situations. 16. Communicating clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing. 17. Establishing and maintaining effective relationships with individuals contacted in the course of work. 18. Operating computer systems and software applications, such as Microsoft Office, specifically MS Word and Excel. 19. Representing the Company professionally, effectively and efficiently. 20. Organizational skills and time management. : High School diploma or equivalent GED Certificate and one (1) year customer service experience, preferably in a drug, food or cosmetic manufacturing environment; or, an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
