As part of the Marketing Operations team, the Senior Email Campaign Specialist is responsible for email campaign production, including the set up, editing, testing, and launching of email campaigns through our third party email service provider. Additionally, you will need to effectively manage agencies and e-mail vendor relationships, evaluating technology and email marketing trends to optimize return on investment. You will serve as the email marketing team expert on the software vendor’s capabilities and email coding, and be responsible for understanding the process to launch an email campaign. A key requirement will be to learn and remain current on email marketing best practices with regard to email design, coding, deliverability, and CAN-SPAM compliance. You will also contribute cross functionally to continuous improvement projects.
•Build email campaigns with content provided by in-house creative department
•Perform quality assurance on all email campaigns prior to deployment
•Monitor campaign effectiveness through reporting and basic analysis
•Identify trends and opportunities for improved email campaign metrics
•Become the internal expert on the campaign and reporting functionality and capabilities of our email software provider, Responsys
•Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned

•BA/BS in marketing or related field preferred
•2-4 years of experience executing email and direct response campaigns in a marketing/advertising agency or corporate marketing department using in-house or third-party software
•Strong analytical and technical skills, including experience using email distribution and reporting applications
•Solid knowledge of email construction, including HTML, CSS and variable data scripting
•Strong communication skills, including the ability to communicate with technical, creative, and marketing staff.
