Job Description
The Sales Executive – Special Markets is responsible for identifying, hunting, and closing new business between Sears Commercial and the network of B2B clients in Special Markets, primarily in Builder, Property Management, Education, Healthcare, and Hospitality segments.

This is a position demanding a high degree of self-motivation and well developed planning, presentation, and organization skills. The position requires excellent communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to present both product and service capabilities in response to the unique needs of each client. The position requires the skills and ability to develop relationships and communicate proposals at the executive and senior executive level of key customers. The position requires the ability to execute sales strategies across a cross-functional team at Sears to gain maximum results from the relationship. The Sales Executive – Special Markets reports to the Senior Sales Manager, West Coast.

Sales Executive(s) work from their homes, and travel to their clients' business locations to develop and manage business relationships. They must have:
• A valid driver’s license,
• Access to a vehicle, and,
• Proof of insurance at the limits required by the company.
Qualifications:
• Attainment of Sales and Margin goals
• Developing & Maintain high level relationships w/target customers
• Prepare and achieve New Account / New Business Development Goals
• Prepare and present quarterly business updates
• Team Sales approach, including, but not limited to, other members of the sales team, service, credit, and logistics support, and the National Operations Center
• Account / Market planning for Prospects / Customers
• Adhere to company travel guidelines / expense, pricing and procedural requirements
• Adhere to all company guidelines for professional and ethical conduct
• Ability to travel up to 50%
• 3+ years of demonstrated success in opening and developing client accounts in B2B markets
• Ability to work independently and drive results with minimal supervision
• Skill and desire to hunt for new business
• Ability to communicate and cultivate relationships with customers and contacts
• Ability to work with various and multiple internal and / or external resources
