AECOM Government Services supports the U.S. federal government with worldwide program management, planning, design, operations and maintenance, logistics, aviation services, security, international development, environmental and civil engineering, and mission and intelligence support.
We are currently seeking talented individual to be our Senior Contracts Administrator in our AECOM Technical Services (ATS) Southwest and Mountain District region. They will act as both formal and informal mentor to junior contract administrators on contracts from key Federal Agencies and Ports groups as well as providing focused knowledge.
Responsibilities include:
- Due diligence in support of projects with new Clients/JV's/Teaming arrangements, cost proposal preparation, contract negotiation, financial analysis (including Gross Margin, Net Margin and Profit analysis), contracts policy compliance, project audits, project property management and any other business related support required by the program/project management.
- Serve as a primary project interface with the client's contracting official where so designated.
- Provide the Prime contract flowdown terms related to performance and billing conditions from the Contract; Must ensure adherence to the firm's signature authority policy, and facilitate approval of necessary and appropriate deviations.
- Coordinate with Corporate Audit Group and support periodic internal project audits, outside project audits by clients, and federal and state agency audits.
- Respond to project/client directives and requests involving financial information, contract compliance, subcontracting/procurement, cost proposals, project audit, project accounting, insurance, property and other administrative issues.
- Review and approve the application of accurate cost and pricing data in the preparation of proposal and contract information.
- Assist with the development of the negotiation strategy and plan/lead, where appropriate, conduct contract negotiations with the client.
- Conduct strategic pricing planning, lead cost proposal development and participate in technical proposal preparation in compliance with the Federal Estimating System Manual, RFP requirements and other firm policies and procedures.

Qualifications:
- Undergraduate degree in business or related field with 10+ years contract administration experience.
- Must have experience in creating and maintaining databases and working with spreadsheets.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and Outlook.)
- Familiarity with Federal Acquisition Regulation and its supplements as well as the Uniform Commercial Code is required.
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local contracting, bidding, source selection, and procurement regulations and laws; experience with audit standards and federal cost principles; outstanding communication and negotiation skills; and strong financial, pricing, and business management skills are required.
- Solid understanding of risk management, assessment, and planning as well as possess the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multitasking environment, love challenges and details, be resourceful, and have great organizational and time management skills are essential.
