We are currently seeking a Project Manager/ Senior Roadway Engineer ( a true seller/doer) with 20+ years of experience who has a working knowledge of Caltrans planning and design processes, for a variety of high profile civil engineering infrastructure and transportation projects. A Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering is required. A California Professional Engineering License (PE) is required. Must have experience in and a comprehensive knowledge of the Project Report (PR) and Project Study Report (PSR) processes. Responsibilities include design (preparation of plans, specifications and estimates), preparation of reports, client relations, project management and administration, and agency/client coordination.
The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to business development efforts as well as to analyze project needs and assist with developing project work plans. The successful candidate will also be expected to manage multiple projects, directing marketing and proposal efforts, and supervise and mentor junior/mid-level staff. Candidates should have the ability to work closely with clients and agency staff, including attendance at public meetings and represent the company at other events. Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
