JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for the development, preparation, and implementation of proposals, including SF 330s; preparation of program and construction management general marketing materials; preparation of materials for interviews; and maintaining project and résumé files in deadline driven environment. Candidates need to have experience in writing and editing. Familiarity with InDesign and PowerPoint software is required.

PROPOSALS

-Participate in Go/No-Go decision process

-Analyze RFPs and prepare proposal outlines noting due dates and responsible parties

-Contribute to the preparation of statements of qualifications, proposals, and SF 330 documents, including information gathering and input; identification of internal team members and subconsultants; and production of résumés, projects, matrices, and other proposal components

-Prepare written and visual materials for interviews and client presentations

-When appropriate, attend pre-proposal meetings and project debriefings with designated staff

INFORMATION, RESOURCE & ORGANIZATIONAL MANAGEMENT:

-Develop, maintain and update staff résumés

-Capture résumé and project information collected during proposals and incorporate in master résumés and project files

-Write narrative descriptions for appropriate projects

-Update and verify reference information when used in proposals

-Coordinate the submittal of entries to award competitions

-Produce stock pages in InDesign, package the material, and update Deltek database

MARKETING RESEARCH

-Assist with secondary research efforts: monitor trade publications, other industry-

related information sources for broad-based marketing and business implications

-Review FedBizOpps and similar websites for project opportunities.

PROMOTIONAL ACTIVITIES

May work with senior marketing staff/business development staff to develop and

implement marketing programs, direct mail campaigns, event-specific advertising, and similar activities

Education: B.A. or B.S. in Communications, Journalism, English, or Marketing
