JOB DESCRIPTION:

Senior Project Manager capable of bringing new local or regional clients to the company (seller/doer type). Provides overall direction to a project or group of projects of considerable size, scope and complexity-includes industrial, commercial or governmental programs typically involving considerable revenue. Ensures established goals and objectives are met within framework of established corporate or organizational policy. Incumbents may manage any number of employees directly or as participants of a project team.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Identify and develop new business outside of current client base (this would include new clients as well as existing AECOM clients who have OH/KY operations that we do not currently work with).


• Identify and develop additional opportunities within our current client base (e.g., cross-marketing).


• Serve as a resource to existing staff in business development activities. Build sustainable backlog of work to support additional hire.


• Serve as Senior Project Manager for project work, Targeted utilization of 50%. Act as mentor to Cincinnati staff working on these portfolios of work.

QUALIFICATIONS: 

• BS/MS degree in the sciences or engineering relative to one of the following areas: Assessment/Remediation of soil and groundwater, Air Quality, Water and Natural Resources.


• EHS compliance management or waste services experience.


• 12+ years experience in respective Practice Area and local geography.


• Diverse local industry experience.


• Proven success in local business development.


• Successful track record in new client identification and relationship development.


• Potential for bringing local clients to AECOM Cincinnati upon hire.
